I find nearly all of my beautiful space photographs on NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day site, one of my favorite places on the web. NOTE ON NOVEL FORMATS I've put the novels I've written into several basic formats to meet various reader needs and have provided links to the corresponding web sites if you need to download a reader. Acrobat (for desktop) provides the most beautiful, correct versions of the novels. This is the one to use if you don't mind reading from your computer screen. I don't recommend going to the time and expense of making hard copies, but if you feel you must print the novels out, I've provided Acrobat (for printing), small-font versions that will result in manuscripts with far less bulk than the Acrobat (for desktop) versions. For my personal use, I printed out small-font versions and bound them using light-weight sheet protectors and flexible three-ring binders. They're heavy, but they will withstand many readings without falling apart. For the PDA, I've provided versions for the Microsoft Reader and DOC. The Microsoft Reader version isn't perfect, but it is beautiful and functional; it's the one I use on my own PDA. The DOC version isn't as pretty as the others, but it is a universal format that works on nearly all PDA platforms. If you're not sure whether your particular reader will be able to use a DOC file, MemoWare has information that will help you. Please, PLEASE, if you need a plain text version of the novel, make a conversion from the DOC file I provide. This is necessary, because my work contains a lot of italics formatting, which I have marked in the DOC versions. All of this will be lost if you make a plain text conversion from any of the other formats. If you need a format that I do not provide (other than plain text), please feel free to copy the HTML version and convert it to whatever you use. | |
